Maddison’s a Big Girl Now ~ Tacoma Baby Photographers

I love the 6 month stage. Babies are so much fun to photograph at this age.   Unless they’re working on a tooth, they are usually having a good time sitting up and getting into things, depending on how mobile they are. The perfect time for a 6 month session is that narrow window when your baby is sitting up really well on their own, but aren’t on the move yet.  Of course every baby is different, which makes my job so much fun. Maddison is a sweet baby girl. I knew I wanted to include one of the images of her laughing.  I love to hear babies laugh and giggle. I don’t think there’s a sound more beautiful, than listening to your children laugh. Here are a few of my favorites.

Lil’ Man Dane is on the Move ~ Tacoma Professional Baby Photographers

I always have fun when baby Dane pays me a visit.  And he was full of smiles for his 6 month session.  He has so much personality, I’m sure he’ll be the life of the party when he gets bigger. I have to say, he’s a very busy little boy for a 6 month old! He had things to do, and sitting around for pictures wasn’t on the agenda.  Reminds me a lot of my son. But that’s another story. Mommy and Daddy are going to be busy when he starts walking! I still haven’t caught up to my son, and he’s 7 years old now:) Here are a few of my favorites.

Lil’ Miss Charlie’s Newborn Baby Portraits ~ Tacoma Baby Photographers

Here is sweet little Charlie’s first professional baby portraits.  In spite of the crazy weather, she was able to make it for her newborn session.  She slept like a little angel, too.  I had to include a couple images of her smiling, she looked so cute.  She has a long flight ahead of her ~ she’ll be heading back to Australia with her mommy and daddy soon. I know Grandma will really miss her. Congratulations, mommy and daddy on your sweet little daughter.

Jazzma’s Baby Bump ~ Professional Pregnancy Pictures by Tacoma Photographer

She and her husband already have a little boy,  so they’re excited to have a little girl this time. They just completed a tour in Germany and are happily back in the US again to have their second baby. It started snowing during her session, but that didn’t bother her a bit. She told me they would get 10 – 12 feet of snow a year where they were in Germany, so this storm was nothing to them.  I have to comment that things were a little tense in their household Sunday night, as both the 49ers and the Patriots battled for a trip to the Superbowl.  In the end, Jazzma’s team won! Ashley’s Baby Bump Pictures ~ Tacoma Professional Pregnancy Photographers

Ashley and her husband are living the classic romance, I think.  She’s a nurse and he’s a pilot in the military, and very much in love! And very excited about their little girl. Both great people, they were a lot of fun to work with. Here are a few of my favorite images from their session.

Baby Madilyn slept like a little angel ~ Professional Baby Pictures by Tacoma Newborn Photographers

I wish all my little clients slept as soundly and easily as little baby Madilyn.  She slept the entire session. I think she woke up only 10 minutes to eat, and then went right back to sleep. If only all parents were so lucky. I know I wasn’t!  There are several of her smiling sweet little dreams, I’m sure, but I ended up choosing these instead. Little newborn Madison has arrived! ~ Professional Baby Pictures by Tacoma Photographers

Isn’t baby Madison adorable? Mommy and Daddy had to work hard for her baby portraits. She didn’t want to miss a thing. But she finally went to sleep in spite of herself, and we were able to capture some beautiful portraits of her.  Grandma made the gorgeous baby blanket we used for the scale and the bowl & pitcher portraits. What a special gift, one that will be treasured forever, I’m sure. Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

Lil’ Man Matthias is in the House ~ Professional Baby Portraits Tacoma Photographers

I get to see Matthias every 3 months or so, and I look forward to every visit. His smiles just seem to keep growing along with him. He is so easy-going and full of fun, I often wonder what he will be like as an adult. With so much personality, I know he’ll be successful at whatever he does. Hadyn’s Newborn Baby Portraits ~ Tacoma Baby Photographers

Little baby Hadyn has big shoes to fill, or boots rather.  Hadyn’s daddy is a fireman, so we wanted to incorporate his gear into some of the portraits. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun during this session! Fortunately, Hadyn found daddy’s hat to be really comfortable – at least he didn’t protest too much. I had a hard time selecting my favorites, so I included several in my post. Congratulations mommy and daddy on your handsome little son.

Nicole’s Baby Bump Pictures ~ Tacoma Professional Pregnancy Photographers

Grandma is going to receive the best gift of all this year! Her first grandchild. Think she’s excited? Nicole brought her along for her baby bump portraits. Between the two of them and Nicole’s boyfriend, they would get such the case of the giggles during the session. I had to laugh.  I know their baby is going to very lucky to have such fun-loving parents.  They drove a long way for their session, so I was especially happy the images turned out so well.  Congratulations, Nicole!
